The third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will open in Changsha on June 29. On the eve of the expo, the media delegation of "China-Africa Xiangyue Enterprise Line" went into Hunan Lead International Trade Co., LTD. (referred to as Lead International Trade) to understand the company's trade situation with Africa.
Since its establishment in 2018, Leading International Trade has vigorously developed its trade business with Africa. By 2022, the company has achieved a total import and export trade volume of 2 billion yuan with Africa. The main products include rubber, non-ferrous metals, agricultural products, medical products, etc. The business scope covers Angola, Congo, Tanzania, Cote d 'Ivoire, Tunisia, Kenya, Nigeria and other countries. Among them, natural rubber, as the traditional advantage of the leading international trade products, can purchase about 100,000 tons of African natural rubber every year, and achieve import and export trade volume of more than 1 billion yuan, an average annual growth of more than 30%.
At the same time, in order to fully integrate the superior resources of all parties and further expand trade with Africa, in October 2022, according to the unified deployment of Changsha Municipal Party Committee and government, under the overall guidance of the Management Committee of Changsha Free Trade Zone, Changsha International Trade Group was established under the leadership of Changsha Chengfa Group. By implementing barter trade and building a barter platform, the company has provided a new business form and model for the development of China-Africa trade, effectively solved the problem of foreign exchange shortage prevalent in Africa, and met the needs of African people for living and production materials.
"Through the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, we have fully opened up cooperation with Cote d 'Ivoire's rubber industry chain." Lead International trade, Changsha International Trade Group general manager Tan Wang introduced that in the previous expo, the company and a number of enterprises to establish business cooperation in Africa, signed the African Cote d 'Ivoire rubber, Zambia copper concentrate, South Africa chrome ore and other projects.
Lead International Trade and Hong Kong Meilan Group cooperation, the layout of Africa Cote d 'Ivoire rubber factory, the first plant, the second plant is completed and put into operation, will achieve 350,000 tons of annual production capacity. Through this project, the lead international trade opened up the whole industrial chain of African rubber, and realized the long-term sustainable export of Cote d 'Ivoire's African standard rubber.
At the same time, leading International Trade has cooperated with large logistics enterprises to establish overseas warehouses in Africa, helping the business to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and stable and rapid development. Cote d 'Ivoire, Djibouti and other countries have jointly established overseas warehouses, which cover the whole continent of Africa with points and areas through triangular layout in the east, west and south of Africa. Solve the problems caused by poor infrastructure in African countries, such as difficulties in collecting goods, complicated definition of goods rights, and difficult to carry out effective quality inspection, so as to form a long-term and stable delivery scale.
"At this expo, the company will sign a series of cooperation agreements with a number of enterprises, including rubber imports, non-ferrous metal ore imports and other projects, and jointly promote the construction of standardization system for export business to Africa."
