NBRIt is made from the copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene, the acrylonitrile content is from 18% to 50%, the higher the acrylonitrile content, the better the resistance to hydrocarbon fuel oil of petrochemical oil, but the low temperature performance is worse, the general use temperature range is -25~100 ℃. Nitrile butadiene rubber is one of the most commonly used materials for oil sealsandO-rings.


Advantage:

1.It has good resistance to oil, water, solvent and high pressure oil.

2. Good compression distortion, wear resistance and elongation.


Disadvantage:Not suitable for use in polar solvents such as ketones, ozone, nitrohydrocarbons, MEK and chloroform.


Nitrile rubber O-ring common use:

For the production of fuel tanks, lubricating oil tanks and rubber parts used in petroleum hydraulic oil, gasoline, water, silicone grease, silicone oil, diester lubricating oil, ethylene glycol hydraulic oil and other fluid media, especially sealing parts. It can be said that the most widely used and lowest cost rubber seals at present.
