Before installation, the oil seal should be properly coated between the lips with lithium based ester with molybdenum disulfide, to prevent the shaft from causing dry grinding to the lip when it starts instantaneously, affecting the amount of interference of the lip, and should be assembled as soon as possible. If the oil seal seat is not installed immediately, it is recommended to cover it with cloth to prevent foreign matter from attaching to the oil seal. Hands or tools coated with lithium grease must be clean.
2. The oil seal should be plain, and there should be no tilt phenomenon. You are advised to install it using an oil pressure device or a telescopic tool. The pressure should not be too high, and the speed should be even and slow.
3. Oil seal installation should be coated with oil or lubricating oil, and the shaft end and shoulder rounded.
4. When installing the oil seal, be sure to make the lip end towards the sealed oil side, avoid reverse assembly.
5. When the oil seal is loaded into the seat hole, special tools should be used to push it into the hole to prevent the position from skewing.
6. Various measures should be taken to prevent damage to the lip through the thread, keyway, spline, etc., and be assembled with special tools.
7. When removing the oil seal, avoid damaging the surface of the cavity and the surface of the shaft;
8. The used oil seal, even if the appearance is good, can not be used again, must be replaced with a new oil seal;
9. When the surface of the shaft is bruised or rusted, it must be repaired;
10. When loading the new oil seal, in order to leave the old lip contact part, the gasket should be used to avoid the original friction marks.
